Drive Smarter is a companion app that enhances your driving experience when using select connected Cobra and Escort devices. It allows you to use your smartphone as a companion to your DashCam.

The onboarding process is streamlined, making it quick and easy to connect your Dash Cam and configure it as part of your dashboard. With Drive Smarter, you can "add" a virtual vehicle to your account and then add compatible Cobra and Escort branded devices to enhance your driving experience.

If you have a mobile WiFi hotspot, you can optionally connect your cameras directly to the Drive Smarter cloud. This enables instant upload of videos, the sharing of time-sensitive data, and event information.

Using Drive Smarter, you can conveniently view and access recordings stored on your Dash Camera SD card. The recordings are sorted by timeline, highlighting events of importance such as possible collisions or impacts. You can also select files to download to your phone, trim video clips, and share them with your contacts using your preferred communications app.

Additionally, Drive Smarter offers streamlined reports that can be generated for insurance claims processing, making it easier for you to access the information you need.

In case of severe collisions, Drive Smarter provides in-built Mayday services that are automatically triggered. You can send details about your current situation to a designated in-case-of-emergency contact.

It is important to keep your device's firmware up-to-date so that you can enjoy all the latest features that your device has to offer.

Emergency videos are stored in the Drive Smarter cloud, providing added convenience and peace of mind.

Drive Smarter also includes a convenient Snapshot button that allows you to remotely take photos via connected cameras with just a tap on your smartphone screen.
